Frequently Asked Questions

  • Aim to arrive 5-7 minutes before appointment start time to find my space, use the restroom, and settle in. Hydrating well the day before you session is a good idea. Before your massage begins, we will chat about your current bodywork goals and discuss injuries and/or chronic issues. After we make a plan for your session I will leave the room, giving you privacy to undress to your level of comfort and get on the table, under the sheet and blanket. Proper draping will be used throughout the session. At the end of our session I will leave the room again so you can get dressed. When you’re fully dressed, open the door and I will come back in to collect payment, discuss issues if applicable, possible self care options, rebooking, etc…

  • Tipping is always optional, but greatly appreciated.

  • It is recommended to rest, hydrate and eat a filling meal after receiving massage and cupping therapies. Every body is different, some may feel very tired and some may feel energized. Listen to what your body is telling you. It is extra important to rest, hydrate and eat if this is your first time receiving massage and/or cupping therapy, as it is a new experience for your body.
